OUR STORY

How It All Started

What started as countless "what if?" conversations in the car quickly turned into dreaming up what our coffee cart could be, choosing a name and taking the leap to make it happen. This small idea has grown into something we're proud to share.

Coffee has always been woven into our story. We both have a background working in coffee, we had our first unofficial date at a coffee shop, and even made coffee part of our wedding with a mobile coffee experience for our guests. These moments remind us that coffee has a way of bringing people together and creating meaningful connections.

From Seattle to Central Arkansas

Our love for specialty coffee really took shape while we were building our life together in Seattle. We loved exploring coffee shops with our boys, discovering new roasters, and bringing home fresh bags of coffee to brew ourselves.

When we moved back to Central Arkansas, we realized how much we missed those experiences. We saw an opportunity to bring a little of that specialty coffee culture here: thoughtfully crafted drinks served with intention.

Wherever Next Door Coffee takes us, we can’t wait to bring these experiences that we’ve had to you! From serving handcrafted coffee, meeting incredible people, and helping make weddings, parties, meetings, and events feel a little more special. It's everything we love about coffee, just on wheels in your space instead of behind a coffee shop counter.

Why “Next Door”

The name comes from a core value we keep coming back to: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:39). We wanted our coffee to feel less like a transaction and more like a visit from a neighbor. A team that shows up, cares about the details, and elevates your event to make it more memorable.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to at every event, whether it's a wedding, a corporate meeting, or a Saturday market. Great coffee is the starting point. Genuine hospitality is the whole point.

If that sounds like the kind of coffee experience you want at your next event, we'd love to hear from you.
